| Data Modeller with Investment Banking New York, NY (Onsite Position) Client:: BNYM Job Description:: The Oracle Data Modeller will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex data models to support business intelligence and data analytics needs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle databases, data modelling tools, and a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts. Key Responsibilities: Data Modelling: Design and implement logical and physical data models to meet business requirements. Develop entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs) and other data modeling artifacts. Database Design: Create and optimize database schemas, tables, views, and indexes. Ensure data integrity and consistency through proper design and implementation. Data Warehousing: Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions using Oracle technologies. Work with ETL developers to design and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance issues related to data models and database queries. Implement best practices for database performance and scalability. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into data models. Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure proper implementation of data models. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, schemas, and data dictionaries. Provide training and support to end-users and team members on data modelling best practices.
