| From: jenifer, Dewsoftech [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Business Consultant Location: Tallahassee, FL (onsite) Contract Duration: 12+ Months Job Profile Summary: We are seeking a Business Consultant to perform tasks assigned by the contract manager including Preparing Deliverables, Communicating with Stakeholders, and Facilitating Meetings. This position will be contract and on-site. What Youll Do: Prepare deliverables identified by the Contract Manager, within the timeframe specified. Deliverables the candidate will be responsible for producing include, but are not limited to: Current (AS IS) business process and customer journey maps SWOT Analysis Requirements for Future (TO BE) business processes and customer journey maps Gap Analysis Business Process Models (Diagram and Narrative) Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) Data Dictionaries Data Flow Diagrams User Stories Acceptance Criteria Business Cases Test Plan Communicate relevant information to project teams and stakeholders in a timely manner. Facilitate meetings throughout the term of the contract Proofread meeting documentation to ensure use of proper grammar and consistent font styles Attend the meeting and communicate with attendees in a clear, concise, and constructive manner Provide meeting documentation in the format designated or approved by the Contract Manager Make necessary meeting arrangements and create needed artifacts to fulfill meeting objectives Create a meeting agenda and send it to attendees in advance of the meeting Keep meeting notes highlighting key action items and decisions and indicating clear due dates with any next steps needed. Send copies of the meeting notes to attendees within three (3) Business Days following the meeting Address project team conflict and communication problems proactively Review required documentation evidencing the deliverable for completeness and correctness before submitting to the Project Team and Stakeholders. Obtain acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Contract Manager and appropriate Stakeholders What You'll Need Required: Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with Department staff at various levels A minimum of ten (10) years of IT business/industry work experience A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in performing business analyses on IT projects A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing large, software development programs/projects Experience creating process model diagrams Experience translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteria Physical Demands: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors Thanks & Regards Jenifer Lewis Senior IT Recruiter Ph.
