Develop automation scripts for efficient resource provisioning and management. Application Deployment & Management: Oversee application deployments on the OpenShift platform. Collaborate with development teams to implement Docker and Kubernetes best practices. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Employ command-line and GUI tools to monitor OpenShift platform and application performance. Optimize resource utilization and identify performance bottlenecks. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support to development and operations teams. Troubleshoot OpenShift-related issues and implement effective solutions. Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures to protect the OpenShift environment. Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and changes. Generate regular reports on system performance, availability, and compliance. Training & Mentoring: Share knowledge with IT staff and developers by providing training on OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing OpenShift environments. Proven expertise in Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes architecture and functionalities. Proficiency in Linux system administration, shell scripting, networking, and security. Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration are highly desirable. Proficiency in a programming language like Python or Java is a plus.
