Implement custom Liferay themes, portlets, and extensions to enhance user experience and meet business requirements. Integrate Liferay with third-party systems and databases to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability. Liferay Customization : Customize and extend Liferay's core features to tailor the portal according to specific project needs. Develop and manage Liferay plugins, themes, and layout templates. Optimize and troubleshoot Liferay environments for performance and scalability. Technical Leadership : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements. Provide technical guidance and best practices in the use of Liferay and Java technologies. Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Maintenance and Support : Perform regular system monitoring and maintenance to ensure the stability and security of Liferay-based applications. Resolve technical issues related to Liferay and Java applications, providing timely and effective solutions. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Technical Skills : experience in Java development. hands-on experience working with Liferay Portal, including developing and deploying portlets, themes, and customizations. Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and related technologies. Strong understanding of Liferay architecture and APIs. Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services. Experience with relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. Educational Background : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
