H1B only || PPN Must || Must have 10+ years of experience Job Title: Apache Solr Admin Location: Austin, TX or SFO, CA Hire Type: Long-term Contract Note: Its an onsite role (3 Days/week) Job Description: 5 to 10 years of experience on Apache Solr with knowledge on Kubernetes and cloud technology Technical Skills: Proven experience in designing and developing search solutions using Apache SOLR in the last 3 to 4 years Solid understanding of search engine technologies, search algorithms, and data structures Experience with indexing, querying, and analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Familiarity with search relevance models and ranking techniques Experience maintaining and designing applications on AWS Experience with building efficient distributed, scalable, high quality software services, microservices Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with database technologies and SQL Experience in Agile methodologies, and CI/CD DevOps tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions, GitHub Co-pilot etc.) Develop and maintain advanced query rewriting functionality. Write automated unit test cases for Solr search engine. Design, develop, review & test Solr search engine in collaboration with cross-functional teams. In-depth understanding of SOLR, Elasticsearch, and Lucene Proficient in Java, JVM tuning, and debugging.
