| From: Arpitha S, Stellar IT Solutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Power Builder Developer- Remote (NC LOCALS) Location: NC Remote Position: NCDOT - Developer/Programmer- Senior Short Description: The NCDOT is seeking experienced PowerBuilder contractor developers (>5 years experience) for a 12-month engagement to replace an outdated 3rd party software tool used as part of a mission-critical application called HiCAMS. Complete Description: Required Skills: (5+ years) Experience as a PowerBuilder developer using PB10 or more recent versions. Strong SQL skills (HiCAMS uses a Sybase database but SQL skills in any database platform are acceptable) Strong Microsoft Suite experience, particularly Excel Experience working in a remote software development environment Strong analytical, conceptual, and technical skills Positive interpersonal skills coupled with an independent, self-motivated work ethic Ability to work with a custom base-class Proven written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain business processes to IT users and IT applications to business users Preferred Skills: Development experience in C# Development experience in Java Experience coding stored procedures and triggers (any database) Experience developing in a Visual Studio environment Data conversion experience Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Consultants Experience Experience as a PowerBuilder developer using PB10 or more recent versions.
