From: nitu, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: PeopleSoft Financial Application Development & Security Lead Location: Washington DC(hybrid) Duration: 12+ months Visa: USC/GC About this Position / Responsibilities : Understand and analyze business processes and requirements related to financial management, accounting, procurement, and other finance-related functions. Develop and modify PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and other PeopleSoft development tools. Support integration of PeopleSoft Financials modules with other third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow and process automation. Provide technical and functional support to end-users and resolve issues related to PeopleSoft Financials applications. Support People Tools Upgrade Maintaining User Security and Audit Compliance Configure/Maintain Single Sign On related configuration. Security Configuration support for STAT CSR and guide development team on secure development as needed. Work with Data Owners / Business Owners / IT Support team for PeopleSoft Access requests. Configure PeopleSoft Financials modules to align with business requirements. This includes setting up general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, cash management, and other finance-related configurations. Security role/permission configuration and maintenance. Engage application data owners to Design/Configure security to maintain least privileges. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the PeopleSoft Finance applications. Assist in data migration and conversion. Assist with month-end and year-end close. Support financial audit requirements. Conduct peer reviews. Qualifications : Strong leadership and team management skills are vital to effectively guide project teams and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders, The ability to identify and address project-related challenges, risks, and issues proactively is important in ensuring project success. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid approach is beneficial, as different projects may require different methodologies. Support other WMATA major initiatives like ERP Modernization project. Manage PeopleSoft O&M tasks and delivery. Manage PeopleSoft security requirements. Prepare and support procurement related artifacts, including COTR support related to vendor contract activities and of procurements for phases. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Preferred Requirements: Master's degree in computer science or a related field. Experience in working with Hyperion and other third-party systems. Experience with cloud-based applications Experience Minimum Requirements: 5+ years of experience in project management is essential with proven track record of successfully leading and delivering PeopleSoft projects on time and within budget. 8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft applications and modules is crucial. The project manager should have hands-on experience with PeopleSoft implementations, upgrades, customization, and maintenance. Experience with databases such as ORACLE, SQL Server, SYBASE, INFORMIX, and DB2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
