| From: Pujarani Patra, Adventatech [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - SAP Material Master Lead Consultant Remote - Travels: Regular travels to customer sites in the US (East cost / Central) expected (avg. 2 trips in 2 months) USC/GC/EAD The Material Master Lead Consultant is responsible for managing the comprehensive strategy and execution of material master data within the project. This role ensures alignment of material master data with the Fit-to-Standard Workshops and maintains high standards of data quality, consistency, and governance across all business units. Key Responsibilities: 1. Master Data Management Strategy o Develop and implement a comprehensive Material Master strategy. o Support in evaluation of the costs and benefits of introducing Master Data Governance (MDG). o Align the material master data model with the results of Fit-to-Standard Workshops. o Plan and enforce data quality, consistency, and governance measures throughout the project. 2. Data Concept and Documentation o Document current material master data processes in detail. o Identify process inefficiencies, strengths, and areas for improvement. o Compile a comprehensive inventory of current master data objects, including usage and volumes per system per object (Vendor, Customer, Material). o Analyze current data quality and identify issues. 3. Data Model and Analysis o Map data models for material master across different systems in detail. o Conduct deep-dive analysis on identified data topics during Fit-to-Standard Workshops and propose aligned solutions. o Develop detailed mapping and transformation rules for migrating data to S/4HANA. o Create a detailed data cleansing strategy and plan. 4. Future State Process Requirements o Define detailed requirements for future state processes. o Establish data governance model requirements, including roles and responsibilities. o Evaluate and recommend technology and tools for master data management. Qualifications: Proven experience in Material Master data management and governance. Strong understanding of Material master data architecture, data quality, and data governance practices. Experience with Fit-to-Standard Workshops and S/4HANA. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. This role will be responsible for: Support the Architect in all aspects of Material master Data Responsible for Data Architecture for Product / Material Master Availability: as soon as Aug-19 Duration: End of December with a high probability of extension.
