Cloud Devops VMware Engineer Phoenix, AZ ( Hybrid 3 days / week ) 12+ months Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps VMware Engineer to join our team, working directly with our end client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in VMware and cloud technologies, strong DevOps skills, and a solid understanding of CI/CD processes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and optimize VMware environments, including ESX clusters. - Configure and manage Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes in enterprise and multi-tenant environments. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jira, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, and Jenkins. - Automate processes and manage configurations with Python and Ansible. - Oversee incident and change management processes using ServiceNow. - Write and execute Splunk queries for log analysis and troubleshooting. - Monitor systems and applications using Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack. Required Skills and Experience: - VMware: Strong knowledge of VMware and ESX clusters. - Container Orchestration: Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes. - CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in Jira, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Jenkins. - Scripting & Automation: Expertise in Python and Ansible. - Incident Management: Experience with ServiceNow for incident and change management. - Monitoring Tools: Ability to write Splunk queries and experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack. - Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Experience Level: 6-9 years in relevant roles.
