| Senior Full Stack PySpark / Python Engineers Location: NYC, NY 10019 Duration: 1yr renewable Visa: USC,GC or GC EAD MUST: Must have 5+ years of Recent (since 2015) experience working in a Major Banking or Brokerage house environment. The Job: Client is looking for senior consultants to: Be Senior Pyspark / Python Engineers. Improve performance and the user experience of new applications. Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and the ETL processes. Experience with Agile software development frameworks. Strong communication and Analytical skills Enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. Be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Skills Needed: Must have 12 yrs+ of experience in the IT Industry. Must have 5+ years of Recent (since 2015) experience working in a Major Banking or Brokerage house environment. Must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience with PySpark. Must have at least 5+ yrs of experience with Pandas API on Spark (formally known as Koalas). Must have 5 years of experience working with Apache Spark and Spark SQL. Must have 5+ yrs of recent experience with Python. Must have 7+ yrs working with Object Oriented Programming Must have at least 5+ yrs of SQL experience. Must have at least 5+ yrs of experience working with Databricks. Must have 5+ years of experience with data serialization formats such as Parquet, Avro, or ORC. Skills Must have: Expertise in PySpark, Python, Apache Spark, Spark SQL, ML Pandas API on Spark (formally known as Koalas) SQL experience and Databricks Strong background in data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL processes. Proficiency in Agile software development frameworks.
