The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in API testing, working with Bigtable, Solr, and batch applications. The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our backend systems and services. Key Responsibilities: API Testing, Bigtable, Solr, Batch Applications, General QA Activities Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on backend testing. Strong knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI). Hands-on experience with Google Bigtable, Solr, and batch applications. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL). Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS). Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
