Develop moderate/complex SQL statements for data migration (ETL process). Support application developers in designing, implementing, and testing database changes to support business applications. Assist application developers in coding efficient SQL statements, review SQL statements for performance, and make recommendations for indexes. Design and plan upgrade strategies, including coordination with system administrators and developers. Upgrade plans must include checklists, milestones, complete checkout, and exercised fallback procedures. Assist other database administrators in maintaining multiple DB2 LUW environments, such as Development, QA, Training, and Production. Support database administrators and systems administrators during patching of operating systems and database systems. Document entity types and relationships between entities with an Entity Relationship Diagram using Erwin. Ability to work during non-business hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Qualifications: Five years of experience as a Database Administrator. Five years of experience with Structure Query Language (SQL). Three years of experience as a Database Administrator on DB2 LUW. Three years of experience with Red Hats Enterprise Linux (RHEL). One year of experience with Relational Data Modeling. One year of experience with Microsoft Outlook, EXCEL, and WORD. One year of experience with Erwin. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Quests Toad for DB2 LUW, IBMs DataQuant, or QMF. Experience with moderate/complex SQL development. Experience with Unix shell scripts, such as ksh, csh, bash, or sh. Experience with COBOL. Experience with DBI Softwares Performance Suite for DB2 LUW. Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or Teradata.
