Overview The Cyber Secure team is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our technical initiatives. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. We are looking for a passionate individual who thrives on innovation, excels in problem-solving, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Please see call notes below - QA/QE engineer assisting in testing. This team supports front end but is moving to full stack Team is based out of OFallon and need someone to be onsite. Currently will be doing UI testing. Their framework is written in Java. Someone who can assist with backend automation testing but majority is front end. Backend testing is critical on long term as they move more on full stack. Strong understanding of testing framework and tool Writing automation test scripts and executing them. These automation scripts are written in Java and some scripts will have to be written from scratch React, Java and Typescripts knowledge is needed Familiarity and knowledge of SQL databases. Writing queries is helpful JDK and Selenium is being used by team and experience on them will be a plus Manager is not a fan of overly long resumes. There won't be coding questions during interview but they will have to demonstrate they know creating automation scripts using Java. Develop and execute test strategies aligned with project goals. Automate testing processes to improve efficiency and reliability. Conduct manual testing to validate software functionality and performance. Identify and report software defects using Rally and Jira. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure thorough testing. Review requirements and design documents for testability and accuracy. Implement and advocate for QA best practices and methodologies. Perform regression testing to validate software changes. Monitor and improve test coverage to ensure comprehensive testing. Integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines for seamless releases. Document test plans, cases, and results comprehensively. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Participate in quality reviews and retrospectives for continuous improvement. Our Tech Stack Database (DB): Oracle DB Backend (BE): Java Frontend (FE): React, Typescript Test Automation: Java Skills/experience Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium). Experience with programming languages such as Java or JavaScript. Ability to integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally). Understanding of SQL and experience with database testing. Agile development practices and participation in Agile ceremonies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration. Attention to detail in test planning and documentation. Adaptability to changing requirements and continuous learning mindset.
