| Hi , Hope you are doing great today! Role :: SAP MM Functional consultant Location :: Austin, TX || Hybrid onsite Duration :: 12 Months Client-:Infosys/Apple Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document material master data requirements and business processes. 2. Analyze and evaluate existing material master data in the SAP system to identify inconsistencies, errors, and gaps. 3. Perform data cleansing activities, including data validation, standardization, and enrichment, to ensure data integrity and accuracy. 4. Create and maintain material master data records in SAP, adhering to established data governance and quality standards. 5. Ensure the timely and accurate creation, modification, and retirement of material master data as per business requirements. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment and integration of material master data with other SAP modules, such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Procurement (MM), and Production Planning (PP). 7. Support data migration and data conversion activities during system upgrades or implementation projects, ensuring the accurate and timely transfer of material-related data. 8. Develop and maintain data management procedures, guidelines, and documentation for material master data processes. 9. Perform regular audits and quality checks to identify and resolve data discrepancies or anomalies. 10. Provide training and support to end users on proper data entry and maintenance procedures to uphold data quality standards. 11. Stay up to date with SAP best practices, industry standards, and regulations related to material master data management. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. 2. Proven experience as an SAP Material Master Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on SAP data management. 3. Strong knowledge of SAP modules related to material master data, such as Material Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP). 4. Proficiency in SAP transaction codes and tools used for managing and maintaining material master data, such as LSMW, Winshuttle, or similar. 5. Familiarity with data cleansing and data quality techniques within an SAP environment. 6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. 7. Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices. 8. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information to stakeholders at various levels. 9. Experience in data migration and conversion activities during SAP implementation or upgrade projects. 10. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to material master data management, such as ISO 8000 or similar, is a plus.
