Title: Senior System Administrator

Location:Fully Onsite(Jacksonville, FL)

Duration

: 6 months contract

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Helpdesk Support: Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex issues for internal teams, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Active Directory & Azure Active Directory: Manage user accounts, groups, and policies across on-premises Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments.

Office365 Administration: Oversee the administration of Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, ensuring seamless operation and user support.

Server Administration: Maintain and administer Windows and Linux servers, including system updates, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Network Services: Manage and troubleshoot DHCP, DNS, and NPS services.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Implement and manage Azure MFA and DUO for enhanced security across the organization.

Workstation & Mobile Device Management: Deploy and manage software on workstations and mobile devices using Microsoft Intune.

Printer Administration: Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of networked printers.

Hardware Management: Handle racked IT equipment, ensuring proper installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Network Administration: Administer and troubleshoot switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks to ensure optimal performance and security.

Security Event Management: Monitor and respond to security events, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.

Service Desk Administration: Manage the service desk, ensuring efficient ticket resolution and continuous improvement of support processes.

Azure Administration: Administer Azure cloud services, managing virtual machines, storage, and networking.

Virtualization: Manage and maintain virtual environments using Hyper-V and VMware.

VoIP/Call Center Administration: Administer and support VoIP systems or call center technologies.

Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to procure hardware, software, and services, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.

Required Experience and Skills:

Proficiency in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.

5+ years of experience in a helpdesk or systems administration role.

Strong experience with Office365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).

Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.

Familiarity with network services such as DHCP, DNS, and NPS.

Experience with MFA solutions (Azure MFA, DUO).

Expertise in workstation and mobile device management using Microsoft Intune.

Solid understanding of network administration, including switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi.

Experience with security event management and response.

Proficient in Azure administration.

Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V/VMware).

Knowledge of VoIP or call center administration.

Excellent vendor management and coordination skills.

Strong documentation skills.

Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Preferred Skills:

Interpersonal skills

PowerShell and Bash scripting

Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent.

Experience with ITIL processes and frameworks.
