Location: Chicago, Illinois Client: Oracle Vertical: Mortgage / Banking / Insurance / Capital Market Job title: Onsite Operations Job Purpose This position is an onsite role for at least one year. The person will coordinate knowledge transfer and communication between the client and the team in India. They will assist with provisioning and prioritizing work flows and ensure deliverable timelines are met. Onsite client management Reports to: Project Manager Preferred Domain First Preference -> ITES - BFSI US Accounting The job: (key accountabilities) The responsibilities include the following: Plans, directs, review and coordinate the work of offshore accounting staff, assigns work activities and projects, monitors workflow, reviews and evaluate work products, methods and procedures, identify and resolve problems Assigns, supervises and reviews the work of accountants. Develop work standards, conducts team training and developments. Accounting background is a must. Strong communication skills. Previous experience working and managing offshore teams Process mapping, streamlining, re-engineering and improving service quality levels for both internal & external customer. Engage with aligned business groups to drive quality objectives both onshore and offshore Works closely with the operations team, ensures SLAs are met, corrective and preventive actions. Qualification & Experience Bachelors degree in accounting Working knowledge of JD enterprise accounting system Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills required Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines required 3-5 years of experience in ITES BSFI Skill / Competency Change management and good people management skills US Accounting background Comprehensive knowledge of US accounting practices and processes.
