Title: Sr Data Analyst (16+ Years of experienced) Duration: 12 mos (expected) Visa: No CPT, OPT, H1B Location: Remote role, Strong preference for a DMV resident (WashDC, Maryland, Virginia) # of vacancies: 3 Responsibilities: Sr Data Analyst for a Remote Assignment based in Washington, DC Must have 8 yrs working as a sr/lead data analyst for large data sets and multiple interfaces 9+ yrs planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities 10+ yrs leading projects, ensuring they are in compliance with established standards/procedures 8 yrs ETL tools - Design, Develop, Analyze 3 yrs Curam software - V6 or higher (Database centric work highly desired) 8 yrs Hands-on experience in different file transfer methodologies and different file types and layouts 5 yrs Experience with Tableau, dashboard design and develop 4 yrs Strong experience in Healthcare Data 8 yrs Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions Languages: Must have English Native or bilingual proficiency Minimum Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience Preferred: 16+ yrs Systems/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio to develop flow diagrams/ process diagrams and full MS Office Suite Experience with Public Sector and Government Knowledge of sound data management principles, concepts, and practices Knowledge of how to determine business data requirements, create data standards and business rules Knowledge of human services and health care programs Ability to work with multiple agency stakeholders that may have joint and unique agency or program-specific data requirements Familiarity with public policy issues related to human services data requirements Ability to analyze complex, abstract issues in a logical, structured way Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of statistics and research methodology Analytical skills: outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with business information generation and analysis methods Ability to effectively drive business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment Gravitas will develop a framework for information and data governance and sell and embed it in all levels of the business Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to technologists; the ability to sell ideas and processes internally at all levels, including the board and investors Demonstrated knowledge of data structure desired but not essential; information systems/tools and related software and data management; enterprise content management and record-keeping policies and practices in a complex organizational environment Broad experience desired, but not essential, in multiple domain areas, such as data warehousing, business intelligence (BI), data governance, data architecture, data integration, data classification, data strategy, data quality management, data security, and privacy, MDM, data standards, regulatory compliance, and enterprise architecture frameworks Position Responsibilities: Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management Plans, coordinates, and monitors project activities Develops technical applications to support users Develops, implements, maintains, and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems Provides training for system products and procedures Performs application upgrades Performs, monitors, maintenance, or reports on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications Troubleshoots problems Ensures project life-cycle follows District standards and procedures.
