Essential Skills and Qualifications: 7+ years of established experience in Data Modeling within a sizable corporate setting. Mastery of data modeling applications, including but not limited to ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner. In-depth knowledge of data modeling methodologies, encompassing conceptual, logical, and physical frameworks. A track record of crafting and instituting data architecture norms, protocols, and leading practices. Exceptional analytical prowess and problem-solving acumen, particularly in refining data architectures and augmenting data accuracy and efficacy. Advanced interpersonal and cooperative capabilities, suited for efficient engagement with multidisciplinary teams and partners. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable discipline, or similar professional experience. Core Responsibilities: Forge and perpetuate comprehensive data models that fortify data-centric decision-making and operational workflows. Engage collaboratively with business stakeholders to grasp their needs and transmute these into sophisticated data models, utilizing tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, among others. Formulate and execute data architecture norms, directives, and optimal practices to assure uniformity, expandability, and data integrity. Critically evaluate and refine current data structures, pinpoint enhancement areas, and advocate strategies to bolster data veracity and functionality. Partner with data engineers, DBAs, and additional technical groups to seamlessly transition data models to live environments. Create and manage exhaustive data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage records to uphold data governance and regulatory adherence. Facilitate data modeling strategy workshops and instructional sessions for internal stakeholders to propagate high standards in data modeling. Remain abreast of the prevailing and emergent trends in data modeling and architecture, suggesting cutting-edge approaches to enhance data management operations. Desirable Expertise: Familiarity with SAP ECC (Enterprise Central Component) and practical involvement with SAP data modeling frameworks. Notes: Extensive experience (7+ years) in data modeling within a large enterprise environment. Expertise in data modeling and architecture using tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, and PowerDesigner.
