Please find the below position: Job Title: Technical Engineer IV Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Buffalo, NY, & 2 days remote) Duration: 12+-month Contract Note: No sponsorship - must be USC, GC Holder, GC EAD, H4 EAD (must be valid for 2+ yrs.) Our client, an American bank holding company, is currently seeking a Technical Engineer IV to join their team on a 12+-month contract basis. Primary Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation and configuration of the bank's SIEM platform, ensuring it meets security and compliance requirements Collaborate with the SIEM team to develop and maintain correlation rules, reports, and dashboards to enhance the effectiveness of the SIEM platform Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities, contributing to the remediation of identified vulnerabilities Stay up to date with the latest security technologies, threats, and industry best practices, sharing knowledge with the team to enhance the overall security posture of the organization Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to promote security awareness and provide guidance on secure coding practices and data protection Work closely with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams on a regular basis to implement and manage the design, development, and execution of technical solutions that meet or exceed current and future needs of the organization. Responsibilities may include infrastructure review, implementation, and design, creation of support and architectural documentation, standards, policies, analysis, and testing. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Combined minimum of 8 years higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management and/or architecture. Strong understanding of the system development and infrastructure lifecycle and architecture, vendor best practices, IT Service Management, and systems design. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
