Job Title: Principal Consultant | Supply Chain Management | IBM Sterling OMS

Work Location: Atlanta, GA 30339 (WFO from day 1)

Contract duration (in months): 6

Job Details:

As an IBM Sterling Order Management Principal Consultant, you will anchor different phases of engagements primarily related to Sterling OMS.

You will be responsible for the product architecture and technical expertise to the client and to the IBM Sterling Order Management project team.

You should have a complete understanding of the clients business processes as well as the technical requirements for successful implementation of IBM Sterling Order Managements software.

You should ensure the overall requirement gathering, Fit gap analysis, system architecture design, application design, development, testing, and deployment.

This includes ensuring that the solution design and delivery meet the customers business requirements.

You should also mentor the functional and technical consultants on the project team with the objective of providing high-quality and value-adding solutions to customers within the guidelines, policies, and norms of Infosys.

Required Qualifications:

At least 11 years of experience in value chain management (supply chain and demand chain) with emphasis on order fulfillment and order management.

At least 10+ year of experience in IBM Sterling OMS

At least 10 years of experience in software development life cycle.

At least 8 years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.

Experience in Configuration and Customization of Sterling OMS

Experience in working with Sterling Web SOM & Web COM modules

Experience in working with Sterling OMOC

Experience in creating Technical design documents for Sterling OMS

Experience and understanding of in Production support and performance engineering.

Technical Skills - Knowledge of Java, XML, XSLT

Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment and has client interfacing skills.

Analytical skills

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree

Participate in the Consulting Services sales process, including preparing accurate estimates for the Statement of Work (SOW)

Identify project resource requirements and required skills for project success

Experience in Defining the solution, technical design for solution hardware and software, hardware and software configurations, product extensions, interfaces, etc.

Provide product implementation expertise including system architecture design, application functionality and design, development, testing, and deployment

Communicate all project issues related to system architecture design, application design, development, testing, and deployment

Experience in Review and delivering on-time and high quality project deliverables

Conduct QA reviews of custom developed code to ensure overall quality and compliance with the IBM Sterling Order Management development framework

Ensure thorough solution testing and deployment, including System Test, User Acceptance Test, and Performance Test

Audit the results of the testing and advise the team on any potential go-live issues or risks

Facilitate the project completion process. This includes transition to Technical Support, Sunset Review, etc.

Perform solution architecture audits

Participate in recruitment and office development activities

Mentor the functional and technical consultants on an engagement

Act as the client liaison with Product Management / Engineering for developing custom client solutions

Maintain IBM Sterling Order Management solutions and best practices for design and delivery

Provide feedback to Product Management / Engineering on product roadmap

Participate in Engineering design reviews for new product versions and design future product functionality in active engagements

Provide understanding of system constraints and performance implications and characterize the solution holistically
