Job Description: As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting our company's infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and software systems. Key Responsibilities Plan and Implement: Design, configure, and implement infrastructure solutions across the enterprise. Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, providing tier two support as needed. Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and vendor-supplied utilities for best performance and fit. Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for all infrastructure components. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical problems related to telecommunications, networks, servers, and storage. Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior team members. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in infrastructure engineering. Qualifications Must-Have: Bachelors or Technical degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or a technical role. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems. Experience with telecommunications, networking, security, storage, and server technologies. Knowledge of ITIL concepts. Certification: Candidate must have at least one of the following certifications: ITIL Foundation Certification Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate CompTIA Network+ VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Nice-to-Have: Additional relevant certifications or experience in a similar role within a large enterprise environment.
