The Unified Communications (UC) and Contact Center Architect is responsible for designing and implementing contact center and unified communications solutions tailored to the unique needs within healthcare. This role involves leveraging modern contact center and Unified Communications technologies, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, to optimize patient flow, enhance customer experience, and improve operational efficiency. The UC Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and objectives, design scalable and innovative solutions, and ensure successful implementation and integration within the healthcare environment. Design and architect UC and contact center solutions for healthcare organizations, focusing on improving patient flow, enhancing customer and employee experience, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging modern contact center technologies, UC, and CRM systems.

Develop solution architectures, including system designs, integrations, and data flows, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Partner with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and select contact center technologies and CRM systems, ensuring compatibility and scalability with existing infrastructure and future needs.

Conduct technology assessments, proof-of-concepts, and pilots to evaluate new solutions and validate their suitability for healthcare contact center environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, customer service, and clinical staff, to ensure seamless integration and adoption of communication and contact center solutions.

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in contact center architecture and CRM systems, and proactively recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Hands-on experience with cloud-based contact center solutions, particularly AWS Connect and LEX, including configuration, customization, and administration.

Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging cloud technologies to optimize contact center operations, enhance customer experience, and improve operational efficiency.

Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing concepts, with the ability to architect and implement scalable and resilient contact center solutions in the cloud environment.

Experience with integrating cloud contact center platforms with other cloud services and systems, such as CRM systems, telecommunication systems, and data analytics platforms, to create seamless and integrated solutions.

Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements, with the ability to design and implement secure and compliant contact center environments in the cloud.

Strong technical expertise in contact center platforms including AWS Connect and Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE), Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Microsoft Teams, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce Health Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics), telecommunication systems, and related technologies.

Experience designing and implementing scalable and resilient architectures for healthcare organizations, with a deep understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.

Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Salesforce, AWS, Cisco, Calabrio,) desired.
