Role: Mechanical Engineer Location : San Diego, CA 92121 Onsite Job Type: Contract System understanding & trainings on existing products lines. System BOM Analysis and Feasibility Analysis Experience in System design, testing & system integration Experience in product Reliability analysis Experience in system Thermal analysis Experience in motor control applications Experience in System level requirements capture, Risk analysis Experience in mechanical CAD drawings, concepts & tool Experience in system level, sub-module assembly level & component level design Good knowledge on cable harness design & routing Alternate supplier identification for selected components Design document updates Good knowledge in various design analysis for digital board & Mixed signal designs such as timing, noise margin, part stress, DFMEA and worst-case analysis. Previous experience in analog control electronics, sensor and solutioning Good to have circuit design experience (Altium Designer, or equivalent) Experience in electrical requirements, board specification and system requirement writing. Knowledge on Embedded software and good understanding on communication interfaces like USB, Ethernet. Comfortable with working in a lab environment and executing hands on testing. Must have knowledge in EMI/EMC compliance design and testing. Experience in working with medical diagnostics device or equivalent systems (Preferred) Experience in Field issue resolution, obsolescence eradication, BOM scrubbing. Knowledge on Medical device compliance standards - IEC60601-X , ISO14971, ISO13485 Must be familiar with technical work instruction and drawings, and good documentation practices. Creating System Test Plan, V&V and Test Protocols. System, Board (PCBA) Testing and debugging support.
