Design and installation: Responsible for the design, setup, installation, configuration, and security of Linux systems. Patching and upgrades: Oversee patching activities and upgrades for the Linux operating systems. Monitoring and optimization: Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning and optimization strategies for Linux systems. Security: Design, configure, and maintain security for the Linux systems. Incident support: Provide troubleshooting and support for Linux-related incidents and outages. Knowledge transfer: Provide training and knowledge transfer to FI$Cal staff through shadowing sessions and process reviews Project Summary The project involves providing advanced system administration consulting services to support the FI$Cal system, Californias centralized IT solution for financial management. The services include design, maintenance, optimization, and security of Oracle databases, PeopleSoft Financial Supply Chain Management, Oracle Hyperion/Essbase, Middleware/Oracle WebLogic, and Linux systems.
