| From: Vijayakumar R, TechStar Group [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Java Developer Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ (day 1 onsite) Duration: 12 months contract Job description: Roles and Responsibilities Participate scrum calls, sprint story discussions and ceremonies and be an active partner with client Product Owner to nail down the requirements Understand the need and raise any relevant clarifications ahead of time and prepare a high-level delivery estimation of the requirement for further review Based on the problem statement nature do a complete Analysis, Design, and documentation. Then present it to a broader group for approval Once the design is approved then start the coding, write unit test cases, and raise code review request, address review comments, do integration testing Run the design and implementation changes with offshore team and help them as needed to get the work done Own the entire delivery with offshore team support and make sure the delivery is on time Once Integration testing done then deploy code for QA team to do a further testing Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, business analysts, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Skill set 10+ years of experienced candidate who is Proficient in Java SE/EE, including frameworks like Spring and Hibernate Design, implement & integrate RESTful APIs following microservices architecture principles Hands-on experience in Restful service, define API contract, Develop API implementation 10 years of hands-on experience is mandatory on Java, Spring Boot, Spring Rest, Spring MVC, RESTful & SOAP Web Services. Additional knowledge of JPA, Spring Cloud, Microsoft Azure etc. will add value. Develop and manage Oracle database schemas, tables, triggers, indexes, sequences, constraints, functions, and procedures Should have experience on API Management (APIM) Lifecycle and API Analytics Integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs with the front-end, ensuring efficient data handling and communication. Experienced in Build management tools such as Maven Should have experience in Java unit testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito Decent knowledge with using tools like Putty to access and work on Linux environments Decent knowledge with Azure cloud technologies like Azure pipeline Experience with version control systems like Git.
