| SOC Analyst -CyberSecurity Analyst Des Moines IA -Hybrid -locals required 12 months As a key member of the Client Security Operations Center (SOC), this position serves as the primary incident owner, responsible for managing information security incidents throughout their lifecycle. The role involves leading incident discovery, analysis, verification, tracking, containment, recovery, and response coordination. The SOC Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate incidents and communicate intelligence to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead the incident handling process, including escalation and notification. Coordinate with other teams to remediate detected incidents. Communicate and translate technical information to non-technical personnel. Candidate Requirements: Minimum 8-9 years of experience with security certifications such as SSCP, CompTIA Security+, or CSA+. Strong understanding of security technologies (firewalls, IDS, policy management, etc.). Solid knowledge of emerging attack vectors and countermeasures. Experience in conflict resolution, incident escalation, and complex problem-solving. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with high integrity and professionalism.
