housing, food and job assistance; provide addiction, mental health, vocational
and rehabilitative services; protect children, seniors and people with physical
and/or developmental disabilities; process claims and benefits; manage provider
licensing and state hospital facilities; and promote and protect the state
public health.

Scope of Work:

As part of the Office of Information Services
(OIS), Technology Platform Data Resources Management Team (DRM) is searching
for an experienced senior DB2 database administrator to assist with the
administration of the enterprise DB2 environment. This position will
focus on providing expert consultation to management, DRM staff, technical, and
business stakeholders.

The Key Person will participate in the

manage both IBM DB2 databases for Unix and Mainframe operating systems.

shell scripts to monitor table space usage and buffer pool usage, work with ETL
tools to extract DB2 data from zOS to staging tables on distributed platforms and
develop ETL routines using DB2 load/unload utilities, DB2 Connect, and other
data warehousing tools.

Finally, the Key Person will provide ongoing
technical assistance and education to application developers and business
analysts for DB2, COBOL, JCL, and SQL. They will conduct performance analysis
and identify tuning opportunities to enhance database performance, implement
