Proficient in configuring UCS Service Profiles, VLANs, VSANs, vNIC & vHBA Templates, and managing UCS Firmware upgrades. Strong understanding of Cisco UCS Central and Cisco Intersight. VMware: Good experience in building and configuring VMware ESXi hosts & vCenters (vSphere 7/8) and managing ESXi & vCenter patching/version upgrades. Expertise in performing VM Migrations (vMotions/Storage vMotions) and Decommissioning of ESXi Hosts & vCenters. Strong understanding of VMware vSphere Networking. Data Center Operations: Proven hands-on experience in executing Data Center Migrations. In-depth knowledge of general processes for build, implementation, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Scripting and Automation: Knowledge of VMware/UCS scripting (preferred). Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Cisco UCS and VMware environments. In-depth knowledge of Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnects, Fabric Extenders, Blade Servers, and UCS Manager. Expertise in VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere Networking, and vMotion/Storage vMotion. Proven track record of successful data center migrations. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. VMware certifications (preferred).
