The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous manual testing. Experience with streaming data technologies such as Kafka and Spark Streaming will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough manual testing of applications and systems to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements. Utilize SQL to query and validate data, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential issues. Perform regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing as needed. Document and track defects, working closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to QA and testing. Requirements: Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester with a strong understanding of manual testing methodologies. Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data. Experience with streaming data technologies such as Kafka and Spark Streaming. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Must reside in the Los Angeles County area.
