Role: SAP Ariba Functional Tester Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Job Description: As an SAP Ariba Functional Tester specializing in Sourcing, Contracts, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Invoicing, Ariba Procurement Content, multiple modules of SAP ARIBA Supplier Lifecycle Performance (SLP), Invoice Management, Document Management Solutions, SAP Accounts Payable Integration, and expertise in CIG, CI9, XI, and PO/PI, your role is crucial in ensuring the comprehensive testing of SAP Ariba solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand intricate business processes, design complex test scenarios, and execute test cases to guarantee the quality and functionality of SAP Ariba modules. The cross skill requires the person knowledgeable on Peoplesoft and Vertex, for the tech integrations. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand detailed requirements for SAP Ariba modules, including Sourcing, Contracts, P2P, Invoicing, and Supplier Lifecycle Performance. Translate complex business processes into detailed test cases and scenarios. Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans encompassing the entire SAP Ariba suite, including integration points with SAP Accounts Payable, CIG, CI9, XI, and PO/PI. Identify and document intricate test data requirements for diverse testing scenarios. Test Execution: Execute functional, integration, and regression tests for SAP Ariba modules, ensuring coverage across Sourcing, Contracts, P2P, Invoicing, and other related functionalities. Validate data integrity, system performance, and compliance with industry standards. Defect Management: Identify, document, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Conduct root cause analysis for complex defects and propose corrective actions. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and end-users, to ensure alignment on testing objectives and results. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding test progress and complex integration issues. Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for SAP Ariba modules, focusing on Sourcing, Contracts, P2P, and Invoicing, among others. Integrate automated tests into the overall testing process to improve efficiency. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports for all SAP Ariba modules. Provide training and support to end-users on testing processes related to SAP Ariba solutions. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP Ariba releases, new features, and industry best practices. Propose and implement improvements to testing processes and methodologies, especially related to SAP Accounts Payable integration, CIG, CI9, XI, and PO/PI. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a functional tester with an emphasis on SAP Ariba solutions, particularly in Sourcing, Contracts, P2P, Invoicing, and Supplier Lifecycle Performance. Strong understanding of SAP Ariba modules and integration points, including SAP Accounts Payable, CIG, CI9, XI, and PO/PI. Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience with test automation tools for SAP Ariba. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
