| Job Title: Teamcenter Tester Experience: 12+ Years Location: Lisle, IL - Onsite Position Type: Contract JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a skilled Teamcenter Tester to manage and support our Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Teamcenter administration, including installation, configuration, customization, and maintenance. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of the Teamcenter environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, configure, and maintain the Teamcenter PLM system, ensuring high availability and performance. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure data security and compliance with company policies. Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to optimize the Teamcenter environment. Develop and implement workflows, templates, and other customizations to meet business requirements. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and provide solutions for PLM-related issues. Conduct regular system audits, backups, and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and business continuity. Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing any issues or questions related to Teamcenter. Stay up-to-date with the latest Teamcenter features, updates, and best practices, and implement necessary upgrades and patches. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and user guides. Participate in project planning and execution for new implementations, integrations, and enhancements to the Teamcenter system. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in administering Teamcenter PLM systems. Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, modules, and customization options. Proficiency in Teamcenter installation, configuration, and maintenance, including database and server management. Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Perl, Python, PowerShell) for system administration tasks. Familiarity with CAD integrations and data management within a PLM environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience with other PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Enovia) is a plus. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with ITIL and service management practices. Relevant certifications in Teamcenter administration or related areas.
