| From: Steve, Talent Groups [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: SAP SD Consultant with RAR Expertise Location: Santa Clara ,CA (Hybrid) Duration : 12+ Months Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant with deep expertise in Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP SD and RAR modules to support business processes related to sales, distribution, and revenue recognition. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, business acumen, and strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: SAP SD Implementation and Support: Lead or participate in the implementation of SAP SD modules, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support. Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the SAP SD module, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system stability and performance. Design and implement customizations and enhancements to meet business requirements. Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR): Implement and configure the SAP RAR module in compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 standards. Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting. Develop and maintain revenue accounting models and rules within the SAP RAR module. Conduct data migration and validation activities for RAR implementation. Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, PP) to ensure seamless integration of SD and RAR functionalities. Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on SAP SD and RAR capabilities. Participate in cross-functional project teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Project Management: Lead or support SAP SD and RAR-related projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and communicate status to stakeholders. Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and support teams on SAP SD and RAR functionalities. Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP SD and RAR best practices, new releases, and industry trends. Identify opportunities for system improvements and process optimizations to enhance business performance. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. SAP certification in SD and/or RAR is highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP SD module implementation and support. At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP RAR module, including implementation and configuration. Experience with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliance is a plus. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SAP SD processes, including order-to-cash, pricing, billing, and shipping. Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP SD and RAR modules. Knowledge of SAP integration points with other modules (FI/CO, MM, PP). Experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
