Title: SAP ABAP Developer Location: Lake Forest, CA onsite Contract Key Responsibilities: Standard ABAP Development: Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP programs and applications based on business requirements. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of SAP ABAP code. Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation for all SAP ABAP developments. Enhancements and Customizations: Work on enhancements using User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and Enhancement Framework. Customize existing SAP applications to meet business needs and improve system performance. Reports and Interfaces: Develop SAP reports using ABAP, including ALV reports. Design and implement data interfaces between SAP and other systems using IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs. SAP Module Integration: Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and requirements. Provide technical expertise and support for integrating SAP modules like SD, MM, PP, FI, and CO. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Perform unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and developments. Suggest and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and user experience. Requirements: Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with a strong background in standard ABAP programming. Proficiency in SAP enhancement techniques such as User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and Enhancement Framework. Experience in developing SAP reports, interfaces, and customizations. Familiarity with SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI, and CO. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
