Job Title: Senior SAP Project Manager Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite once every two weeks)(ALL EXPENSES WILL BE PAID BY CLIENT) Duration: Long term project Project Domain: Construction Project Type: Brownfield Implementation (SAP to ETM.NXT) Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Project Manager to lead a Brownfield Implementation project within the construction domain. The role will involve managing the transition from SAP to ETM.NXT, ensuring that the project meets its objectives within the specified timelines and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large IT services or outsourcing companies and be adept at managing complex client relationships and overseeing large-scale SAP implementation projects. Key Responsibilities: Brownfield Implementation Management : Lead and manage the Brownfield Implementation project, overseeing the transition from SAP ECC / S4 to ETM.NXT. Ensure all aspects of the implementation are aligned with industry best practices and the specific needs of the construction domain. Client-Facing Expertise : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met. Provide expert guidance to clients on best practices in SAP implementation and the migration process to ETM.NXT. Collaboration with Functional Teams : Work closely with functional teams, legacy/existing system owners, and their technical architects to ensure delivery timelines are understood. Document, action, and escalate issues and risks as necessary to maintain project momentum. Vendor and Stakeholder Liaison : Support existing business systems owners in coordinating with third-party vendors to ensure successful project outcomes. Ensure that all necessary approval gateways are defined and met in the delivery plan for any system changes. Testing and Quality Assurance : Act as a liaison between the test team and existing business system owners, ensuring that the test team has sufficient detail to prepare appropriate test scenarios. Oversee the quality assurance process, ensuring that all system changes are thoroughly tested and meet the required standards. Project Planning and Tracking : Establish and maintain a comprehensive project plan, tracking and monitoring delivery progress for agreed changes. Provide regular status updates and progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Extensive SAP Implementation Experience : Proven track record in leading large-scale SAP ECC / S4 implementation projects, particularly within large IT services or outsourcing companies. Brownfield Implementation Experience : Demonstrated experience managing Brownfield Implementation projects, particularly in transitioning from legacy systems to new platforms like ETM.NXT. Strong Client-Facing Skills : Ability to manage complex client relationships, ensuring that client needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Project Management Expertise : Strong experience in managing project timelines, risks, and issues, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. Construction Industry Knowledge : Understanding of the unique challenges and requirements within the construction industry, with experience in managing industry-specific SAP projects. Additional Information: Location : The position is based in Omaha, NE, with a requirement to be onsite once every two weeks. Reports to : Project Director or Senior Leadership Team.
