In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the frontend development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric web applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, backend development, and product management, to drive the frontend architecture and implementation of our digital products. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: o Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization. o Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices. o Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their applicability to our projects. Frontend Development: o Architect and implement responsive, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). o Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code. o Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize application performance for various devices. Project Management: o Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables. o Develop project plans, manage timelines, and ensure the successful delivery of frontend features within scope and deadlines. o Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies related to frontend development. Collaboration: o Partner with backend developers to design and integrate APIs and ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems. o Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the development team. o Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and technical challenges. Quality Assurance: o Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and practices for frontend code. o Ensure code quality through continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Qualifications Education & Experience: o Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). o 10+ years of experience in frontend web development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. o Proven experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Technical Skills: o Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. o Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and responsive design principles. o Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. o Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs. Soft Skills: o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. o Strong communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment. o Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with server-side rendering and static site generation. Knowledge of TypeScript and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX). Familiarity with design systems and tools like Figma or Sketch.
