Title: Senior Power Platform Developer Loc: VA, Hybrid 3day onsite, 2day Remote Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced hands-on Senior SharePoint and Power Platform Developer to develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power Apps (both canvas apps and model-driven apps) and Power Automate. The successful candidate will follow best practices and methodologies to deliver robust solutions. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration in technical and business requirement discussions. Key Responsibilities: Configure Dataverse and develop Power Apps (both Canvas and Model-driven Apps) and Power Automate solutions. Lead functionality discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions. Configure business process automation to meet organizational needs. Apply programming skills in .NET, SQL, Azure, and C# to enhance Power Platform solutions. Understand business challenges, map functional solutions to identified use cases, and develop corresponding apps using Power Platform. Integrate with APIs or REST services and implement solutions utilizing multiple data sources. Participate in code reviews, enforce standards and best practices, and troubleshoot Power Platform issues. Document solutions and collaborate with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes. Create design solutions for common use case scenarios and document them. Leverage DevOps practices within Power Platform, including Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator, if applicable. Develop and disseminate documentation related to requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, and platform usage. Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and offer solutions using Power Platform features/tools that meet business needs. Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine governance approaches for the platforms use. Participate in Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. Qualifications: Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform development, particularly in Power Apps and Power Automate. Programming experience with .NET, SQL, Azure, and C#. Experience with API or REST services integrations. Relevant certifications in PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer are preferred. Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator) is a plus. Strong documentation skills and adherence to best practices. Work Requirements: Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week or as needed. Availability for initial webcam interview, with a potential in-person interview if required.
