From: Aditya Raj, Vyze [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Business Continuity Analyst location: Chicago, Illinois (Hybrid) - Local candidates only Duration :6+ Months CTH Visa: GC and USC Only (Need Genuine visas only) Job summary: We are looking for a highly experienced Business Continuity Analyst with a deep background in Business Continuity planning and testing. The Business Continuity Analyst facilitates the Business Continuity program across the enterprise by working with all internal and external stakeholders with the goal of ensuring the resilience of the Business Continuity program in the face of internal and external problems. Tracks and coordinates periodic updates to existing plans, ensures proper review and documents approvals as needed. Expands scope of Business Continuity plans as needed based on feedback from stakeholders and assessed business criticality. Ensures Business Continuity plans are integrated and consistent with Disaster Recovery plans for both traditional and ransomware scenarios. Manages the day-to-day activities of Business Continuity and ensures coordination with other IT resiliency efforts. Understands the organizational priorities, and how the failure of internal and external dependencies including Informational Technology (IT) infrastructure and the supplier/third-party relationships would impact service delivery. Up to 10% travel may be required. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide overall governance of Business Continuity program efforts including mission/vision, charter, policies and standards, steering committee, budget, program management metrics and reporting. - Coordinates creation of regular updates (PowerPoint presentations) of the BC program to senior management. - Facilitate business impact analyses (BIA) and risk assessments as needed across the organization. - Ensure the appropriate BC, DR and crisis management, crisis communication, and third-party contingency (including supply chain, business service providers, IT services providers) plans are developed, maintained, and tested by the appropriate business owners. - Ensure that DR plans and other operational recovery plans (e.g. at plants) are aligned with BC plans. - Act as record keeper for developed plans. - Design/facilitate tests and exercises on the business continuity plans and crisis management execution. - Assist with BC plan navigation for the business at the time of an event. - Support post-exercise post-mortem discussions, summaries, enhancements and resolutions. - Provide training to business teams in support of BC plan management. - Provides recommendations regarding business continuity and disaster recovery systems to maximize the coverage and minimize business disruption. - Manages relationships with key business and administration stakeholders to maintain the effectiveness of business continuity processes. - Performs other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: - Analytical and problem-solving skills that demonstrate the ability to define, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make fact-based decisions. - Skills needed to assist with BC/DR and Incident Response operations. - Demonstrates initiative, exercises good judgment, and maintains the ability to achieve results. - Ability to clearly communicate business continuity and disaster recovery requirements to other members of the organization including senior management (CEO, CFO etc). - The ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of management and staff to achieve consensus among diverse audiences with competing goals and objectives. - Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines with minimal supervision. - Comprehensive knowledge of BC management and resilience concepts. - strong written and oral communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
