It will not be a software engineer role. It will be more infrastructure and platform focused ! Must Haves: -7+ years of hands on Kafka Engineering experience -Understanding of ETL messaging service platforms (MQ, IIB, etc) -Proficient in public cloud -Infrastructure development and engineering experience A large retail enterprise in Phoenix, AZ is looking for an Automation Kafka Engineer to join their Cloud Infrastructure Services team. In this role, you will build integration supporting data exchange between applications using messaging, ETL or managed file transfers. You will also design solutions for Project Teams using integration technologies and update the team on new product features. You will co-author integration road maps with Enterprise Architects and complete the documentation for the integration project and help with any automation processes. You will deploy integration components ( MQ, IIB, Striim) in public cloud. You will work on application transformation to be deploy in public cloud infrastructure.
