| Sr. Security Engineer Location: Santa Clara, CA (ONSITE) Contract: 8+ Months C2C Visa Status: USC & GC only Experience: 8+ years minimum Interview Process: Interview with Hiring Manager Interview with OVT Security team Client Note: The engineer should have a broad understanding of various technologies and be highly skilled in at least two key areas. A general grasp of how DLP systems operate is expected, even if direct experience is lacking. Previous candidates have embellished their resumes, so ensure candidates can fully speak to the skills and experience listed. Required skills for the Sr. Security Engineer role: Networks, applications, servers, cloud, authentication, and emerging technologies. TCP/IP networking, Windows, Unix/Linux, and networking services such as SSL, DNS, SMTP, DHCP. 8+ years of experience in implementing, maintaining, and supporting security tools/platforms (e.g., EDR, DLP, Web Proxy, Messaging, Vulnerability management systems). Working with security engineering, security operations centers, vulnerability assessment, vulnerability threat management, security incident management, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and cyber threat analytics. Strong understanding of Cyber Security Standards such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, and CIS Benchmarks. Good oral and written communication skills, with a history of successfully engaging multiple levels of leadership. Self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently with little oversight. Quick learner, able to prioritize and multitask on multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in scripting languages is an advantage. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
