Data Engineer with 5+ years experience in an enterprise environment. 2. Expert experience working with Azure data stack - Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps 3. 2+ projects working with Azure & Snowflake data warehouses - this individual must be capable of designing data pipelines, table structures, SQL queries, and working with reporting layers (Power BI, SSRS, SSAS etc.) Plus: Previous Retail experience (Im double checking to see if this is a hard requirement) Job Description The Data Engineer will be part of the Retail Data Analytics, Reporting, and Engineering team building real time enterprise data streams ingesting data from multiple data sources into Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be designing and implementing data pipelines using the full stack of Azure data services to satisfy business needs. The data engineer would also be responsible for continuously identifying opportunities for automation and reduction of technical debt & manual data manipulations to create efficiencies & optimize data delivery. They should also work with cross-functional business teams, identify data hydration solutions, assess the feasibility, and provide recommendations to other developers on automation opportunities ensuring that delivered frameworks are scalable. This group supports 3 Business Pillars within Retail: North America, International, and OMNI (new programs hitting the retail side - ship from store, buy online pick up in store etc.) This Data Engineer will be supporting the Omnichannel Order Management Systems (OMS) which processes and manages orders, facilitates order fulfillment, and manages inventory across multiple channels. They are taking the data from all Retail systems, building their own pipelines, integrations to Snowflake, publishing to Enterprise Data Exchange. This person needs to understand nuts and bolts of taking code, looking at the data, checking in code.
