| Data Engineer Location: Redmond, WA (Fully Remote) Length: 9 months (potential extension) Rate: $57/hr C2C MAX Must Haves: Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of exp as a Data Engineer Exp. with T-SQL -including CRUD operations, query optimization, indexing, fine-tuning, and profiling Exp. Azure Synapse Analytics with a focus on Notebooks, Snapshots, and triggers/Pipelines Azure Data Factory and Databricks exp . Responsibilities: Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, storage, and compute components using Azure Services Understand the Data Platforms & Services strategy, and information architecture, and help build modern data lakes and maintain high standards of data quality and integrity Design and build ETL pipelines to automate structured and unstructured data ingestion Analyzes requirements and architecture specifications to create a detailed design document Responsible for data engineering functions including, but not limited to data extraction, transformation, loading, and integration in support of modern cloud computing platforms like Azure and Databricks Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of exp as a Data Engineer Strong skills in T-SQL including CRUD operations, query optimization, indexing, fine-tuning, and profiling Experience with SQL Data Modeling, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics with a focus on Notebooks, Snapshots, and triggers/Pipelines Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databrick Proficiency in Kusto Query Language including extents and joins.
