Document resolution. Manage Incident as per ITIL lifecycle. Liaise with upstream data providers to resolve issues. Respond to and solve inquiries and operations requested by users. Document, Review, handling and resolution steps for support scenarios. Prepare and present stability reports and presentations. Analyze Alert and Stability trends and make recommendations. Investigate root cause of the issues, Inform and educate developers about the cause so that developers and mitigate the root cause. Automate (1) Resolution of common problems (2) Routine investigations (3) Routine user requests using scripts or available programming platform. Lead reliability or business driven projects. Perform reliability engineering You will work closely with engineering/development teams to design, build, and maintain systems and help them decide on products to use, schema design and query tuning. You will troubleshoot issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application and network. You will mentor other SREs on standard methodology for everything from monitoring to troubleshooting complex code and database issues. You will identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the company; scope and create automation for deployment, management and visibility of our services. Represent the SRE organization in design reviews and operational readiness exercises for new and existing services. Participate in on-call rotation and periodic conference calls with other specialists from other time zones. Deep understanding of operating system level concepts such as processes, memory allocation, and the network stack, understanding of how applications are affected by the above, and ability to debug same. Generally speaking, practical experience running large scale online systems is always an advantage. Job Description: Title: RACF Engineer Consultant Address: Fully Remote Role Duration: 12+ Months Requirement: This role is for a senior RACF engineer consultant will assist with design and execution of projects aligned with the RACF security function. The ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge of RACF, ZSecure, and Mainframe infrastructure as they will be working closely with the other infrastructure teams (CICS, Systems Programming, Db2, etc.) and business supporting technologists. They should have strong analytical, organizational and communication skills. Job Description: Title: Mainframe Network Engineering(Mainframe & Network Engineer) Address : 100% Remote Role Duration: 12+ Contract 100% remote/ need someone who can work as per EST time zone Mainframe Network Engineering will be supporting a firmwide initiative to enable encryption for all data in transit. Our focus will be on assessing all connections to and from the mainframe, enabling encryption, and supporting application adoption. Partner with mainframe security team to identify and assist with certificates required for encryption enablement. Candidate will also be expected to support production responsibilities of the network team, including TCP/IP, VTAM, NDM/Connect: Direct, FTP, TPX and participate in on-call rotation. Skills Required: Candidates will need to have experience with reporting and understanding zERT information. Coding and troubleshooting Policy Agent AT-TLS rules with zOSMF. Strong understanding of data encryption (technology solutions, protocols, best practices, etc.) and security concepts specific to mainframe. Ability to program in TSO/REXX or SAS for SMF record analysis. Work experience with; IBM z/OS TCP/IP configuration and customization. IBM TSO and basic z/OS utilities. IBM z/OS platform and software, including operation, customization and problem determination. Familiarity with CA/NetMaster, NDM/Connect: Direct, TPX and JIRA a plus.
