I sincerely appreciate your time Title : Cloud SME (Linux)/ Azure Linux Engineer Location : Clayton, Missouri (Hybrid) Azure Linux Engineer L2/L3 HCL Cloud Services team is looking for an experienced Linux Engineers with expertise in implementation and migration executions. In this role, youll work closely with architecture and operations team on some of HCL's largest and most strategic customer engagements to build new Infrastructure, perform migrations, implement POC solutions. o Position Linux Cloud Consultant o Designation Technical Specialist/Associate Consultant/ Consultant o Experience - A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an engineering/operations role with a software and/or services company. Roles & Responsibilities: Resolve critical and complex technical issues in a 24x7x365 global support delivery team. Combine technical expertise and customer requirements to solve complex business challenges. Provisioning & Managing Operating System, Azure IaaS & PaaS Service. Ability to quickly identify customer issues and being able to conduct in-depth diagnostics on Linux platform and services. Work with Architects to deliver solutions and deploy new capabilities in customer environment. Analyse and eliminate top issues impacting customer experience. Build automation to solve customer problems and develop scripts to automate troubleshooting and diagnostics activities. Create documentation (SOP's & TSG's) to help L1/L2 teams to support operations. Work on critical, highly complex customer scenarios that span across multiple Linux flavours Act as a technical escalation point within the team Work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives Requirements: 5 years of experience in a technical position and a minimum of 2 years of experience as Linux Azure Cloud Engineer. Expertise in OS (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, SUSE, CentOS & Ubuntu). Strong experience on cluster services (SUSE SAP & RHEL). Hands-on experience on Containers - Docker, Kubernetes & Red Hat Openshift is an advantage. Knowledge of configuration management and automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef & OpenStack is preferable. Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, NGINX, NFS, DNS, LDAP & SAMBA. Experience in PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash, YAML or JSON scripting preferred. Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment.
