We have job opening for the below role. Role: SAP EDI Consultant Location: Boston, MA (Only Locals or Nearby) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Responsibilities: Design, configure, and implement EDI solutions using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or other relevant tools. Develop and maintain EDI mapping specifications and translation rules. Configure EDI protocols and communication channels, including AS2, FTP, SFTP, and others. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate EDI solutions with SAP ERP and other business systems. Troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues, including data discrepancies, communication errors, and integration problems. Perform system testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and process reliability. Establish and maintain relationships with external trading partners and vendors. Coordinate with trading partners to set up EDI transactions, document standards, and communication protocols. Monitor and manage EDI transaction flows, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for EDI processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Generate reports on EDI performance, transaction volumes, and system errors for management review. Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders as needed. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the EDI framework. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to EDI and SAP. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP EDI configuration and support. Experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or similar EDI tools and technologies. Proficiency in EDI standards such as EDIFACT, X12, and XML. Strong understanding of SAP modules related to EDI, including SAP MM, SD, and FI. Knowledge of EDI integration techniques and protocols. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. SAP Certified Application Associate in relevant modules is preferred. EDI-related certifications or training is preferred.
