Position :BSA/Senior Testing Subject Matter Expert (SME) [ Capital Markets/Banking] Location : Chicago, Illinois (Must be local) Duration :6-12+Months Mode of interview : Video Job description : Overview: We are seeking a Senior Testing Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in Front Office and Middle Office Capital Markets to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate independently with clients, Business Analysts, and project teams located across various global locations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical testing initiatives within the financial services sector. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute test cases for GUI testing, Functionality, Regression, and Integration Testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accuracy. Apply expertise in various Software Development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, V-Model, Iterative, and Extreme Programming to optimize testing processes. Analyze and interpret business requirements and functional specifications to develop effective testing strategies and scenarios. Leverage in-depth domain knowledge of Capital Markets and Middle/Back office processes & systems to provide valuable insights and recommendations. Utilize Test Management tools such as HP ALM and Jira to track and report on testing progress, issues, and resolutions. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative work environment. Maintain a high level of commitment to teamwork and contribute to a positive team culture focused on achieving project goals and deadlines. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Testing SME in the financial services industry, specifically in Front Office and Middle Office Capital Markets. Expertise in designing and executing test cases across different types of testing methodologies. Strong understanding of business requirements and functional specifications analysis. Proficiency in Test Management tools such as HP ALM and Jira. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team environment. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder. Located in or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in a relevant field.
