Title: Lead Boomi Architect Location: Charlotte, NC or Houston, Texas (Onsite with hybrid) Experience: 15+years Duration: 12+ Months contract Hands-On Boomi platform architecture experience and development: Boomi Atom Clouds, Local Atoms, and Molecules API security API portal and management B2B trading partner integrations Over 10 years of experience in iPaaS, B2Bi, ETL, and API integration project solutions, specializing in Boomi, MuleSoft, and Jitterbit More than 5 years of hands-on experience in architecting multiple large Boomi projects, encompassing API, B2B (EDI-X12), ESB, flows, ETL solutions, and platform architecture Proven experience leading teams, including managing at least 2-3 senior engineers Possession of at least two of the following Boomi certifications, with Boomi Architect being mandatory: Boomi Architect, Boomi API, Boomi Developer Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Proven experience leading teams, including managing at least 2-3 senior engineers. Over 8 years of experience with the Boomi AtomSphere Platform. Experience working in multi-business and cross-functional teams. Skilled in real-time, batch, and ETL integration implementations. Proficient in designing, architecting, developing, and testing Boomi API, ETL, and EDI integrations. Extensive hands-on experience with the Boomi AtomSphere, including: Boomi platform architecture Boomi Atom Clouds, Local Atoms, and Molecules API security API portal and management B2B trading partner integrations. Experienced in Agile project execution (Kanban and SCRUM). Capable of overseeing junior engineers, managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting existing integrations, and promptly addressing issues or concerns. Committed to driving issue resolution within our published SLAs. Proficient in updating and maintaining policy and requirements documents. Provides technical expertise, mentorship, and support to the Boomi team as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Supply chain or retail experience is essential. Boomi Flow and MDM experience is a plus. Preferred Skills: API Design & management tools and techniques including Apigee, Azure API, Kafka Architecture experience, including functional requirements, documentation, creating sequence/flow or overall architecture diagrams Proficiency in Java and experience in at least two to three of the following categories of enterprise application integration architecting: Cloud/on-premises SQL databases: MS SQL, MS Azure, Oracle, etc. ERP systems: SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Infor, etc. Enterprise applications: Salesforce CRM, Workday, PeopleSoft, etc. Protocols: SFTP, FTP, SOAP, REST, EDI-X12 Data formats: CSV, XML, CXML, EDI, JSON, etc Deep EAI/Integration experience with at least one major platform other than Boomi (MuleSoft, Workato, Talend, ESB..) Experience in retail, supply chain, and B2B/B2C industries is highly desirable Day to Day Responsibilities: Will work with several teams to design and architect enterprise application integration solutions spanning across API Management, ESB Publish/Subscript messaging, queueing, Master Data Management and Data Synchronization and Service enablement. Will interact with key stakeholders in other Tech organizations to ensure that the solution will meet the capabilities and constraints of Lowes applications and services. Leads development of integrated business and/or enterprise applications to ensure solution is resilient, scalable, and maintainable and meet architectural standards. Develops standardized, reusable integration services that can be leveraged by the enterprise and third parties requiring key data and information from the LPS applications and solutions.
