| From: Shakthi Satkuri, Flexon Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Failure Analysis: Electrical Failure Analysis Engineer tending more towards someone who can be a Sample Prep Technician Location: Austin, TX (5 days onsite) To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with various Electrical FA lab equipment (DMM, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, VNA, Signal Generator, Micro-probe Station, Curve Tracer, Power Supplies, etc.) and a deep understanding of a variety of failure analysis techniques (LIT, OBIRCH, EMMI, SEM/EDS, FIB, TDR, Laser Injection, CT/X-Ray, SAM/CSAM etc.) and fundamental failure analysis methodology. Deep understanding of analog and digital circuit design is preferred. Deep understanding of semiconductor, IC, and PCB design is preferred. Must have the ability to apply understanding of advantages and limitations of FA tools to follow the best course of action to determine root cause. Must have the ability to convey complex data sets from multiple sources into a concise and understandable form. This role deals with high volume activity.
