JOB TITLE: Salesforce Project Manager

Client: Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC)

LOCATION: Austin, TX (position will be remote within Texas. Candidates must currently reside in Texas)

START DATE: 10/1/24

DURATION: Initial contract for 1,397 hours through 4/30/24 with optional extensions.

DUE DATE: COB 8/20/24

Visa: NO H1B/CPT

Must have state client exp. preferred with Health and Human Services

Must have LinkedIn and 3 references to be filled in the form

JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position will perform project management activities for a new Salesforce application, Immunizations Consolidated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. This project is to build a consolidated customer support tool that will allow external users to create and monitor service tickets in a single application. This role will be responsible for oversight of the project and its deliverables including status reporting, tracking issues and risk, monitoring the project budget, appropriate escalation to leadership and resolving issues and risks. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required.

The Worker will need to perform the following tasks and assignments:

Overseeing design and development work.

Ensuring project meets the standard HHSC guidelines and procedures and developing project artifacts in accordance with Texas Project Delivery Framework.

Managing the project with feature-driven Agile methodology, overseeing, and tracking development progress, and ensuring project assignments and progresses align with project timelines.

Developing and managing project plans.

Documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans; ensuring resolution of issues and removal of project barriers.

Providing weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conducting regular project team status meetings.

Overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensure business requirements get translated into technical specifications, guide, and facilitate the SDLC process.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders.

Possessing strong communication and presentation skills.

Possessing strong teamwork skills.

Transferring working knowledge to current staff.
