Duration :: 12+ Months Call Notes: It is basically Azure migration project where the candidates has to governance policy expert and has to be expertise in cloud financial management (FinOps), including cost optimization and budget enforcement. Job Description- you will be responsible for defining and implementing governance policies and procedures for standardized and secure cloud operations. You will develop policies for change management, incident response, and data protection, ensuring adherence to cloud governance frameworks. Additionally, you will demonstrate expertise in cloud financial management (FinOps), including cost optimization and budget enforcement. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud governance, excellent documentation skills, and experience with cloud environments. Responsibilities Governance Policies: Define and implement governance policies and procedures to ensure standardized and secure cloud operations. Change Management: Standardized processes for requesting, approving, and implementing changes. Incident Response: Cloud-specific incident response plan detailing roles, responsibilities, and communication protocols. Data Protection: Policies for data classification, encryption, and data loss prevention. Backup and Recovery: Policies for automated backup with defined RTO and RPO, and testing recovery procedures. Security: Comprehensive cloud security policies including access controls, encryption standards, threat detection, and routine security audits. Network Routing: Define network segmentation policies and provide recommendations on private network connectivity and peering governance. Auditing Activity: Policies for logging, monitoring, and generating compliance reports. IAM: Policies for secure provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts and integrating MFA and SSO solutions. FinOps and Budget Enforcement: Policies for resource usage, cost management, and spending compliance. Reporting: Comprehensive reports detailing the current state assessment, identifying gaps, and providing improvement recommendations. Essential Skills and Experience Required: 10+ years overall IT experience and 5+ years of relevant cloud governance experience. Deep understanding of cloud governance frameworks and best practices. Proven experience in developing and implementing governance policies. Expertise in cloud financial management (FinOps), including cost optimization and budget enforcement. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Certifications such as CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT) or similar are a plus.
