Experience leading a team of junior or mid-level resources providing mentoring/coaching. Experience working on NoSQL databases (HBase, Hive, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle NoSQL, Amazon DynamoDB, etc.) Experience with AWS technologies such as (S3, EC2, ECS, etc.) Experience with Unix and Linux, along with Shell scripting experience Experience with automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Jenkins, AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes, etc. (Preference is Ansible) Note: This is an SME role, CareFirst has reviewed hundreds of resumes, so it is imperative that you confirm your candidate has not already been presented for this role. The role is largely remote with potential for some on-site meetings as needed. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Position Description: The Lead Ab Initio Administrator will be responsible for leading all tasks involved in administering Ab[1]Initio in the Cloud, including required hands-on work. 90% of the current ETL footprint is on Ab Initi What Youll Get to Do Lead all tasks involved in administration of ETL tool (Ab Initio) in the Cloud. Support the implementation of a Data Integration/Data Warehouse for the Data products in CDP Private Cloud (on-prem) and in CDP Public Cloud (AWS). Leverage knowledgeable of the end-to-end process to act as an SME. Provide credible feedback and input in all impacted areas. Guide/mentor junior resources and less experienced staff.
